Vides eksperti provides high quality environmental consultancy services to both local and foreign companies operating and investing in Latvia. Since our establishment in 2006, we have gained extensive experience and established a wide range of cooperation partners. For many years we have worked with DGE Group companies in Estonia and Lithuania, and since 2024 we have become part of the DGE Group ourselves, joining forces with environmental consultancies in the Baltic and Nordic countries. Project: environmental impact assessment of the section 7.9 – 25.0 km (Ķekava bypass) of the E67/A7 motorway Riga – Bauska – Lithuanian border (Grenctāle). The first public-private partnership (PPP) project in Latvia to be completed in 2023, building a completely new section of road as well as reconstructing an existing section.

Project: Environmental Impact Assessment for the proposed construction of wind power plants by Ventspils Wind Ltd. in Tārgales parish, Ventspils municipality. Wind park with 10 turbines and a maximum height of 250m. The project is being successfully developed further.

As EDD audits are carried out to investigate a site in depth before a sale and purchase transaction is concluded, they entail the highest confidentiality requirements.
EDD audits have been carried out at 15 sites in Latvia over the last 3 years.
We use ASTM E1527-21, EBRD and other standards, and have developed our own, tailored to Latvian conditions. Reports are usually written in English. Customers include both Latvian-based companies and companies from other countries.

CONFORMITY WITH A SPATIAL PLAN
If the proposed activity is contrary to the spatial plan, it will not be possible to carry out the proposed activity without an amendment to the spatial plan, even if there are many other businesses or buildings of a similar nature in the area.
